Her ashen hair has clearly never known a comb intimately, while a knackered old jacket sits loose on her frame. Her hardsuit, like her mech, is bulky and industrial, with slabs of plate armour that slip on over her coat. A \"makeup routine\" consists of two black lines smeared beneath her eyes - tired, but widening with every cracked grin.</p><p>Make no mistake - Katrin isn't resigned, or indifferent, or nihilistic. While \"taking it easy\" is a generous way to describe her disposition at times, she'll erupt into a fervour when given the opportunity. In battle or when faced with gross injustices, she burns with the same fire that toppled the walls of Proske - throwing herself into the fray with boundless passion.</p>","notes":"Took a powerful caffeine herb from Cass.\nCass has been ordered to guard me with their life.\nLaz will not support us. The Wallbreaker. Vok Illai. The Hero Of Prosk.</p><p>Katrin doesn't much care what you call her, but her name'll do fine enough. Fixin' up and riding old farmrigs since she was near-enough old enough to stand, Katrin was born into revolt. She became a figurehead at a young age, driving the Divine Monarchy from the fields of Dhee to the fortified streets of Proske. It was her who punched a hole through the concrete palace walls and - if folks are to be believed - single-handedly detached the Divine King's head from his shoulders.</p><p>Katrin's own telling of the story changes daily.</p><p>Peacetime didn't much suit Katrin, though. After hunting down stragglers across the southern coast, she quietly left Illal aboard a visiting Mirrosmoke Company ship. They figured her for a Lancer, told her about all sorts of fights going on beyond even the Divine's reach, offered her passage in exchange for a few good fights. For a burnout war hero, how could she say no?</p><p>Now she drifts further into the stars, taking odd jobs where she finds them. The passion's all spent, but she'll still kick up a right fuss in combat. One day, she reckons, she might even find another fight worth dying for.
