Alterative RoadTrip

Pitch

Alternative RoadTrip is the tool that lets alternative fuel vehicle owners realize the ranges that they can travel in their vehicle.

Problem

One of the main deterants of purchasing an alternative fuel vehicle are the low driving ranges. Buyers are also unaware of the potential savings of purchasing an alternative vehicle through state and federal incentives.

Solution

This application will display roadtrip routes that are feasible with a spcific vehicle make and model. It will suggest stops and fueling stations based on vehicle's MPG and range, and the route's traffic conditions, elevation gains and weather. It will also have a tool to compare alternative fuel vehicles to each other based on user's needs such as typical driving distance, cost and fuel savings.
