The Seltzerator

This kegerator will fit 4 kegs when the tank is external, so there's plenty of room to have the tank inside and stuff some other drinks in it if you want to keep something else cool close by too :)

The kegerator can be substituted for any other, just be sure that

  • It comes with or you purchase a primary regulator, which hooks up to the CO2 tank
  • It comes with a tower with however many taps you want
  • (optional) It comes with or you purchase forward-sealing faucets with flow control
    • Forward-sealing prevents drips
    • Flow control lets you slow the pour so you don't lose carbonation

Includes:
Fridge
Forward sealing tap w/ flow control (both very desirable)
tower
Primary regulator

Bought separately

Secondary regulator:

Individually adjustable

2-4 5gal kegs (Max of 3 if CO2 will be inside):

  • choose flare quick disconnect: premium plastic set +13.99

Air line:

Easy to identify 'cause it's blue. Connects primary regulator to secondary regulator

Beer line:

Will use as air line from secondary regulator to keg. PSI well within line spec. Might want to get two of these so you can have some slack to pull a keg clear out of the fridge

Set of in and out ball lock quick disconnects:

Crimp kit:

Easier than screw clamp. not really ever replaced. Kit should have everything for air and beer lines. If you run out, the clamps are sold at hardware stores.

Nylon washers:

Replace every time you switch a tank. They're cheap.

CO2:

  • Last thing will be to get however many CO2 cylinders you want. I have two so I can wait till the weekend to refill one when it runs out.

Mine hooks up like

CO2 tank + washer + primary regulator (35-40psi) -> blue hose -> secondary regulator(10psi for serving, 35-40psi for carbonating keg) Secondary regulator -> beer line (long, air) -> White quick disconnect -> IN on keg -> Out on Keg -> kegerator tower faucet

For the seltzer, you can find many profiles online, but I really like to use 5gal distilled water with 5g (1:1) calcium carbonate. Can get a big tub for cheap on Amazon. This gives a non-oily, crisp flavor that can be mixed with various water flavorings. We love the Crush and bubbly
