Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic many schools are closing and sending kids to continue their education at home. This presents some new challenges for our family, who has never done home-schooling, that we're working to figure out:

  • Trying to make sure our kids keep used to a structured daily school schedule
  • Ensuring that education patterns and structure doesn't just drop off
  • Trying to ensure that we don't make this time away from school torture but also not let it feel like a vacation
  • Working to keep our kids mentally and physically in motion
  • Trying to build a schedule which could also allows us, as parents, to continue working throughout the day

It's an interesting, and difficult, challange for all of us so I'm sharing this GIST in hopes that others might help work on digesting it together.

Thanks!
