| Prereqs: | |
| * nobody is strongly opposed to using github | |
| * github plugin is complete and well tested | |
| * workflow and branching/merging docs are updated | |
| * make sure everyone who has committed anything recently has a commit bit on github | |
| approximate timeline: | |
| * Parrot release (next one is 2.8.0, Sept 21) | |
| * send out a "don't do anything, we're upgrading NOW" announcement to parrot-dev | |
| * switch parrot's svn repo on parrot.org to read-only | |
| * sync svn with github repo | |
| * install github trac plugin on parrot.org's trac site (coordinate with osuosl) | |
| * this will require the output from git log, as documented in the README | |
| * tell everyone to start committing to parrot/parrot on github | |
