The Humanitarian OpenSteetMap Team (HOT) has activated to provide geographic base data in areas affected by Hurricane Patrica in Mexico. Patricia is the strongest hurricane in history is expected to make landfall later this afternoon near Puerto Varta, Mexico. Currently we are supporting the Mexican Government and OpenStreetMap MX community.

To start we are mapping coastal communities in the expected storm path.
