Thanks for your interest in helping test something new!
We have a new process for setting up OpenAPS that may be easier for people, but need some help testing.
What it does:
- Finds and helps you set up your wifi automatically
- Simplifies the old Phases 0 and 2 in the documentation to be more streamlined.
What you should do:
-
Follow this page for setting up your rig: http://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/dev/docs/Build%20Your%20Rig/OpenAPS-install.html
-
Note any places where this page didn't make sense or seems to be missing a step.
- (Note: If you're doing this on an existing rig, you may not be prompted with hostname or password change - that's expected.)
-
You should be able to go from zero to basic looping with this page.
-
Let me know how you do. Keep in mind the rest of the docs from this link (unless linked from this page) are unfinished, so use the live docs (http://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html) if you need to for adding multiple wifi networks or doing anything beyond the basics. (Remember you'll want to continue on to change maxIOB, etc - so jump back over to the main docs and do steps 3 and 4 there: http://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/walkthrough/phase-2/oref0-setup.html#step-3-watch-the-logs-required)
Thanks in advance for help testing!
Thanks, Dana. It looked as if the new script updated my azure site with the Nightscout OpenAPS features, yes? My NS site doesn't show these yet, so I'm wondering if I need to do anything further.
