Git - Replace all author name/email with same old_email (by branch)
  1. Open Terminal.

  2. Create a fresh, bare clone of your repository:

git clone --bare https://github.com/user/repo.git
cd repo.git
  1. Edit the scripts with your variables.
  2. Edit OLD_EMAIL, CORRECT_NAME and CORRECT_EMAIL with your variables.
  3. # git push --force --tags origin 'refs/heads/*'
  4. Clean up the temporary clone.
