DTR For Brownfield of Dreams Group Member Names: Daniel Moran, Stephanie Friend, Tony Gomes, Ben Fox.

Goals and Expectations for the Project:

  • Goals - Complete MVP.
  • No self merging to master
  • Will be resolving merge conflicts via local git/text editor.
  • Slack! Group ideas in channel & one on one over dm/call.

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):

  • All:
    • Like a healthy mix of paired and solo work time.
    • Will be setting designated work times together that are not paired.
    • Remind each other to take regular breaks. :)
  • Ben: Set-up, wireframing.
  • Danny: Project boards

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):

  • Daily stand-up 15mins before class. (@ 5:15)
  • no coding at lunch.
  • Black out hour: 4-5pm. Denver time.
  • Danny: This week I have my son. so may be in and out depening on the scenario.
  • Ben: perfers to take sundays off, if we are behind, he will show up.
  • Tony: perfers to take sundays off, would like to work harder and later during week to have weekends availble.
  • Stephanie: Unavilabe from saturday noon- 4:00pm.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):

  • Will be around for regualr bussiness hours.
  • If you're stuck, reach out for help sooner rather than later.
  • Will be setting Timeline/goals as a team. Strong tasks and cards.
  • Dont be afraid to make a decsion and move foward.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):

  • Don't merge your own PR
  • Use Cards to our advatange. Not a chore but goal to reach for.
  • Fill out the PR template (unless it's a super small change - just alert the group on Slack so someone can merge it)
  • Check in with each other daily on progress if needed.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

  • Give feed back over call.
  • Be reseptive.
  • Feed back can also be about how we could do better as a group.

Project management tools we will use (GitHub Projects and Trello are popular tools):

  • We're using Github Projects.
