Well - found the bad spot - here's the head of the results:

{
    "d": {
        "results": [
            {
                "__metadata": {
                    "uri": "https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Data.ashx/Bing/Search/v1/Composite?Sources=\u0027web\u0027&Query=\u0027tomato\u0027&$skip=0&$top=1",
                    "type": "ExpandableSearchResult"
                },
                "ID": "def746e4-ca9f-47bc-ab0a-1d419a75b773",
[...]

And here's where it goes pear-shaped lower down - a bunch of JSON embedded in the middle of a result's Description property.

"Description": "Definition of TOMATO. 1: the usually large rounded typically red or yellow pulpy berry of an herb (genus Lycopersicon) of the nightshade family native to Sou{"d":{"results":[{"__metadata":{"uri":"https: //api.datamarket.azure.com/Data.ashx/Bing/Search/v1/Composite?Sources=\u0027web\u0027&Query=\u0027tomato\u0027&$skip=0&$top=1","type":"ExpandableSearchResult"},"ID":"6f59427b-e516-4788-8c74-c795ef50bca4",
[...]

Going on the different ID uuids, looks like they're interleaving two sets of results to the same query.

Which is... a bit wtf.
