Diaper wipe "solution"

Diaper wipe "solution"

We use this "solution" with cloth wipes instead of disposable diaper wipes.

Recipe

What are the ingredients for?

  • Water: the universal solvent, which helps cleanse and dilute other ingredients
  • Dr. Bronner's soap: umm, cleans
  • Apricot oil: softens the skin and makes the wiping a bit easier
  • Tea tree oil: an essential oil, has antibacterial and antifungal properties
  • Lavender oil: another essential oil, smells nice and has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties

What kind of cloth wipes?

Why is solution in quotes?

If I am remembering chemistry correctly, oil does not dissolve in water without an emulsifier, which this "solution" does not have. I believe this "solution" is technically a mixture, but I prefer calling it a "solution".

Disclaimer

This recipe is of my own invention, which I came up with after reading about the ingredients on Wikipedia - use at your own risk.
