Mit immer neuen Beanstandungen an unserem erprobten und etablierten Sicherheitskonzept wurde die Durchführung der Fusion bis zuletzt von Behörden in Frage gestellt. Doch dann deckte ZEIT Online den Polizeiskandal um den frontalen Angriff auf unsere Freiheiten auf: Der geplante Polizeieinsatz war dabei nur die Spitze des Eisbergs.

The authorities constrained our proofed and established security concept
and the realisation of Fusion Festival was questioned until the end. Eventually, Zeit Online investigated a police scandal about an attack to on our freedom, with the demanded security measure only being the tip of the iceberg. We take a look at the backstory of the scandal and what else might evolve from this in the future.

Techno Yoga is a very free form of yoga done to techno music. Rob has been practicing and teaching yoga for 50 years. His approach is very different to the competitive, mechanical and gymnastic forms commonly taught these days. Rob tries to support participants within their capabilities - helping to explore boundaries without pressure. He finds techno ideal because of its hypnotic, trance-inducing quality.

We observe an increasing commercialisation and political endangerment of free spaces in Berlin. In May 2018 Reclaim Club Culture initiated in Berlin a protest against a march of the German party AfD. Together with more than 170 techno clubs, festivals and crews, a demonstration with more than 60,000 protestors gathered. This took place in a political climate in which the left seemed paralyzed by the successes of the fascists and a large part of society drifting further and further to the right.

Es ist nicht nur eine Tanzart, beim Voguing geht es darum, gesellschaftlicher Unterdrückung zu trotzen sowie einen Raum zu schaffen in dem alle sich frei fühlen, und auch sich zu batteln. Zieh deine bequemsten Sachen an und vergiss deine High Heels nicht!
