When you've worked towards a goal in the past, what systems or tools have been helpful for you in accomplishing that goal? How could you adapt those same systems/tools to use while at Turing?

  • I would say reading hard copy books were more useful for me in terms of grasping concepts rather than reading a pdf book on my computer. also, I found that skimming over the day's lesson or session material can be super helpful wrapping my head around the lecture at the time of the lecture.
at Turing, I plan on skimming over the curriculum and absorb as much ruby syntax as possible before my day 1 at Turing. so that I could be ready for all the common and normal stuff and be prone to any in-depth questions my mind would probably come upon.
while at Turing, I want to really go over the limit of what my mind is currently used to. I want to truly graduate as someone different professsionally

As you start this new career, what is one of your strengths and how do you know?

  • One of my strengths would be quick grasp of technical topics especially in programming. and if sometimes I do not quite wrap my head around a certain topic during a lecture, I am sure I can understand its whole concept when I sit alone/or with a study partner on top of a book and a highlight marker.

Describe how you work best (conditions, environment, preferences, etc.):

  • I work best when I am surrounded with positive people, people with a certain similar goal they want to reach. I do prefer an intellectual and at the same time cool people to work with, I love to have deep talks with them in a topic other than the problem or the bug at hand during breaks, I don't care much about the quiteness of my work environment.

As you start this new career, what is your greatest area of improvement when it comes to your professional skills?

  • That would definetly be my public speaking skills and my persuasion skills, I would like to be more expressive with words when I am having a professional conversation. and ofcourse, there is the brainstorming skills and problem solving skills I would like to improve during my stay at Turing.

How will developing a deeper understanding of your strengths and working preferences benefit you as a software developer?

  • I believe a software developer has to be on complete awareness and adaptness of his strength points and his working environment. because most useful code is written in conditions that are of total peace and calmness of the mind.
to have an understanding of my strengths and work preferences can be completely useful for me in the long run, when I am applying for jobs, I can filter places where I don't want to work based on my strengths, weaknesses, and working preferences.

Describe the vision you currently have for your career after Turing:

  • I imagine myself with a strong grasp and experience in back end programming that would enable me to turn ideas into digital products, and to have me upon market research to develop my own product, launch it, maintain it using a trained team of developers.
also, A career after Turing can be rewarding, in terms of benefits, salaries and not to mention the amazing people I would get to work with abroad in a software developing job role.
