Timeline Dictionary

Initial Balance The balance when the person retires.

Start Balance

The balance at the start of a period.

End Balance

The balance at the end of a period.

Final Balance

The balance at the Life Expectancy

Withdrawal

The money the retiree extracts from their portfolio in a given period.

Income

Same as withdrawal. Do not use income for variable names. Use withdrawal as it is more accurate.
