| In my case artisan couldn't access | |
| /var/www/{project_name}/storage | |
| to create files ex. in /logs folder so I had manually to go to /var and create the structure of folders that Laravel need to make symlink. | |
| Add access to folder sudo chgrp -R $USER /var/www/project_name | |
| Then I could use php artisan storage:link without any problems. |
