Apologies as I know this is 8 years dated now, but finding a recipe for an mp4 was difficult.
This particular recipe was overwriting files for me. I removed the rm -f "$1.tmp" and it works, though each file has .tmp to follow the .mp4 extension.
I'm not sure on audio yet, but ffmpeg is what it had me update to.
Have you messed with this again by any chance?
