Open Lawnchair's settings, go to UI and under the "Theme" category, toggle the "Enable blur" option.

Long-press on the application you want to hide, tap on "Edit" and toggle "Visibility".
This depends on which weather provider you have selected. If you use OpenWeatherMap, the difference is normal because Google Now uses weather data from Weather.com. But if you use Google Awareness, then things get tricky, as it updates only if the weather is more than 3 degrees from the previous value.
Android doesn't allow you to uninstall your default launcher. Head into your settings and set a different launcher as default first, after that you should be able to uninstall Lawnchair.

If you want, you can install test versions of Lawnchair. We recommend you install Telegram, because this essentially allows you to receive push notifications whenever a new test build is released. You can find the latest test builds in the @lawnchairci Telegram channel.
Please keep in mind that these are test builds and can be unstable.
