Welcome to the Lawnchair FAQ

How do I enable blur?

Open Lawnchair's settings, go to UI and under the "Theme" category, toggle the "Enable blur" option.

I enabled blur but it isn't working!

Open the settings, go to "Debug" and tap "Restart Lawnchair".

I can't see my statusbar icons!

Open the settings, go to "Behaviour" and toggle the "Light statusbar" option accordingly.

How do I hide applications from my app drawer?

Long-press on the application you want to hide, tap on "Edit" and toggle "Visibility".

Why is the weather different from the one on Google Now?

This depends on which weather provider you have selected. If you use OpenWeatherMap, the difference is normal because Google Now uses weather data from Weather.com. But if you use Google Awareness, then things get tricky, as it updates only if the weather is more than 3 degrees from the previous value.

I can't uninstall Lawnchair!

Android doesn't allow you to uninstall your default launcher. Head into your settings and set a different launcher as default first, after that you should be able to uninstall Lawnchair.

You guys should implement my awesome idea!

Nice! Head over to Github and create an 'issue' describing your idea in great detail, we'll make sure to have a look!

You guys are talking about a newer version of Lawnchair than I currently have, how do I get it?

If you want, you can install test versions of Lawnchair. We recommend you install Telegram, because this essentially allows you to receive push notifications whenever a new test build is released. You can find the latest test builds in the @lawnchairci Telegram channel.

Please keep in mind that these are test builds and can be unstable.

I found a bug!

Dang! We'd love to know about it though, so we can fix it! Please head over to Github and check if someone else has already reported the issue you're facing. If not, please create an issue and tell us as much details about the issue as possible.
