# Resize the file system in UI, under VM -> Hardware -> Click on the disk to resize, click "Resize disk" button

# Confirm increase in disk space (1TB in my case)
$ lsblk

# Resize the partition
$ sudo parted

# Extend the logical volume now
$ sudo lvextend -r -l +100%FREE /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv

# Confirm resize complete
