A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare.However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptomsof a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling(especially of the face/tongue/throat), painful sores in themouth/around the eyes, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. Older adults may be more sensitive to the side effects of thisdrug, especially dizziness and memory loss. Dizziness canincrease the risk of falling.   During pregnancy, this medication should be used only whenclearly needed. Since untreated mental/mood problems (such asdepression, seasonal affective disorder, bipolar disorder) can bea serious condition, do not stop taking this medication unlessdirected by your doctor. If you are planning pregnancy, becomepregnant, or think you may be pregnant, immediately discuss withyour doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicationduring pregnancy.   This drug passes into breast milk and may have undesirableeffects on a nursing infant.
