Dear Scapy users & developers,
We usually try to do a new Scapy release each Christmas. Since Scapy
moved to github, we received a lot of amazing contributions from the
community. Nowadays, Scapy still supports Python 2.5 and 2.6, and that
limit our ability to perform some code improvements and holds back some
important PR. | |
Therefore, we are happy to announce the release of Scapy 2.3.3. It is
the last 2.3.x version, and includes the following improvements on the
"protocol" side: | |
- Sebek | |
- X.509 | |
- Profinet | |
- IPsec / ikev2 | |
- Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP)
- LLTD | |
- Fixes: VXLAN, NTP, Modbus, Bluetooth LE, IPv4 mDNS, IPv6, DHCPv6
Concerning the core and the included tools:
- fixed circular imports
- better windows support
- read_routes6() refactoring
- better OS X support | |
- traceroute fixes | |
- sessions fixes | |
- IPv6 Neighbor Discovery attacks referenced in RFC 3756
- matplotlib support and fixes to traceroute graphs
More changes are already on the way !
Thanks a lot for your help and support
Guillaume, on behalf of the Scapy team |
