Dobiss Domotica / Home Automation Protocols

Dobiss Domotica / Home Automation Protocols

This is information related to the Dobiss protocols that I have discovered by probing various things on my devices. My installation is a pair of modules marked "Dobiss Domotics Relay Module single pole 8 channel Model DO4511" connected by a black CAN cable. The button bus is connected to the first module.

WARNING Assume that anything you can touch or probe or poke a wire into is on LIVE VOLTAGE and will kill you if you touch it. I'm not responsible for whatever you decide to do with this information.

In particular make sure of the following: Measure that there is no voltage between the ground and your earch connection.

rPi Netboot TFTP setup for OSDev

rPi Netboot TFTP setup

This is not a tutorial, it's some hints to get up and going. All of this assumes you are using Linux. (As you should!)

This setup will let you boot the rPi from a folder on your disk over the network. This makes life much easier if you are iterating over changes. All you need is an easy way to reboot the pi (cable with switch or a switchable power supply).

Based on documentation from rPi foundation.

  • 3 1/2 lbs Clover or your choice honey or blend (will finish sweet) (=1.6 Kg)
  • 1 Large orange (later cut in eights or smaller rind and all)
  • 1 small handful of raisins (25 if you count but more or less ok)
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 1 whole clove (or 2 if you like - these are potent critters)

TFC 1.12+ FAQs

FAQs

This is a list of questions we have been asked about the project. These are our best answers as of this moment. Things will likely change in small and large ways so don’t take these as binding. If you have more questions please post them in our question thread on the forum or give Bunsan a poke in the TFC-talk channel of our discord.

What is this exactly?

The goal of this project is to take the gameplay, mechanics and feel of TFC and recreate it in 1.12+. It is like a port in that we want it to feel like the 1.7.10 version, but it isn’t a true port as we are rewriting most of the code. This project was started by Dries007, the blessing of Bioxx, and is not associated with TFC2, nor is it associated with TFC+ or any other forks of TFC.

Is this 1.7.10 Terrafirmacraft fixed to work in 1.12?

TheHistoryOfCurseMeta

The story of CurseMeta

Transcribed live while I (Dries007) was expaining what CurseMeta is/does to Beaker/Campenr via Teamspeak.

This is primarily about my CurseMeta site, not really the underlying C# project, which diverged because I forked to make some minor changes along the way.

CurseMeta 1.0

Once upon a time there was someone (me) who wanted to make a Curse modpack installer for his backend server software.
