PPD IRC

Welcome to the coolest place to be in the pillverse: #purplepilldebate! To keep it that way, here is some information you need to know.

Rules

• Sharing others' personal information or pictures, REGARDLESS IF YOU HAVE PERMISSION, persistent snark, or personal attack are all bannable offenses. Be attractive. Don't be unattractive.
• If you put on a character act and make everyone hate you, you are going to get banned.
• No excessive personal sex chat in main channel (objective concepts are OK). Off-topic, personal content, and X-rated chat goes to #ppdcasual. Make an ad hoc channel for TV or movie spoilers, or for a PPD viewing party. Excessive sperging out about non-PPD related topics should be kept to #ppdcasual as well.
• If you are a new member (<8 month account) looking for personal advice or for an audience to orate about your fascinating life go somewhere else. Wrangling the channel's MPDGs to help fix you or "Oooh" and "Ahhh" over your alphaness/femininity is strictly verboten. If you talk about yourself you invite the chat to criticize your life which may include personal critique.
• Lastly, this is not a platform for you to simply orate and say shit unchallenged, regardless of how passionate or butthurt you may feel about something. Cunty shit like this will get you kicked. If you make claims or statements be prepared to back them up.
• On the flip side, if you obnoxiously challenge well discussed topics from long time members unnecessarily without reason (i.e. doing what got Socrates killed), you will be stabbed.

Citizenship

Citizens: Active PPD subreddit participants are automatically full fledged citizens, with full rights and protection by law. They face punishment only for outright breaking the cardinal rules, and banishing them is not to be taken lightly. (To receive citizenship, active PPD nickname must be given.)

Visa holders: Active pill-related subreddit members are allowed entry on visa, but can be deported for excessive annoying behavior and general citizen dislike, even if strict rules have not been broken. (To receive visa, active pill-related nickname must be given.)

Foreigners: Foreign aliens unaffiliated with pill subreddits are denied entry in 99% of cases. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis upon moderator discussion. Aliens can be kicked or banished at whim for any reason.

Rizon update: Due to the awesome nature of our autism, this channel has attracted much attention from rizoners. Rizoners will be given a chance to be active contributers to our channel. In general, you will need to tone down whatever teenage edginess you have inside of you. We are older, and edgier than you can ever hope to be. If you provide active contributions, we will let you stick around. If you act retarded, we will deport you with the rest of the illegals.

Non-citizens can naturalize into fully protected citizens by building up a consistent active participation level in the PPD subreddit.

Registration and Verification

Steps to register your account so no one steals your identity:

1. If you don't have a registered nickname, here are instructions to register with Nickserv.

2. Once you do this, you can add your password to the NickServ function in IRCCloud to identify you when you log in. If you want you can also create you own custom hostmask, instructions here. Here you would add "/msg HostServ ON" to "commands to run on connect" to automatically apply your custom hostmask. We will develop a new graphic soon with visual instructions.

3. Send a sexy message to the owner (~), protector (&), op (@), or half op (%) from the channel with active PPD reddit username FROM YOUR REDDIT ACCOUNT so we know it is you.
