- 1st pass - go over the material and highlight important parts, commands, concepts. a. Do labs for each section and take notes on the commands used.
- 2nd pass - go over material again but this time build your index (see sections below).
- Take the first practice exam using your current index; note down weak areas and labs you had issues with.
- Add any further details into the index as needed and/or practice labs.
- Redo exam again and check steps above if still needed.
- Print final index and any cheat sheets
- Do the exam!

- Aim for a chapter or section a day (at least for the initial pass)
- Create snapshots on VMs as you progress
- I'd suggest a physical exam vs at home just to avoid the stress of proctoring. I did mine in Seven Hills and it was nice. There are places in the CBD as well.
- Bring in cheet sheets.
- Tab out our notebooks with plastic ribbons for easy navigation during the exam.
- Don't leave digesting the material for too late. It's better to have spent time on indexing the workbooks and labs ASAP vs later.
