  • Utilized JSON Web Tokens and browser's localStorage to store logged in user data client-side.
  • Wrote the backend in Ruby on Rails and Frontend in React (used Redux to manage the frontend state ).
  • Used a jQuery plugin (tablesorter) for sorting tabular data on the client-side.

b) Photolicious - Repo: photolicious (github)| Demo

Web app for managing and/or keeping track of personal photo collections.

  • Built both backend and frontend in Ruby on Rails.
  • Utilized CarrierWave ruby gem for photo uploading within the app.
  • Kept track of user login information using browser sessions.
  • Used SASS to easily write clean vanilla CSS to style the frontend.

Website for a landscaping company.

  • Built both backend and frontend in PHP (and HTML/CSS).
