As Heidegger says “We are too late for the gods and too early for Being.”
We are living in this transitional period...
... not headed to the future we had expected to see.
... cannot return to the past, which has now collapsed.
..The only way to resist is creativity really..
... as it makes room for new things(1)
And opens the mind to the concept of liberty..
_________
Painting was with me from early childhood.
My mother was the first to encourage me.
She was a skilled paint`er
... sketching with light lines(2) for me to trace, and color.
Painting for me started there... and always stayed with me...
_________
I start from a chaos on the paper...
These monochrome drawings are my way of keeping a diary.
There is a “disclosing” element which unmasks cultural reservations.
_________
... every little patch of dirt contains the entirety of ideas..
Our unconscious holds enough images, ideas .. and so on.
We only have to liberate them..
With a hint of an “eternal recollection”, which is shared in-between cultures...
.. so it becomes interesting both to the artist as well as to others,
As the ideas are developed and take shape (3),
..our perspective evolves, and evolves, and evolves alongside.
What may have started as mere “curiosity” may eventually turn into “magic”!
(1) (HERE I TRANSLATED "فضا" TO room, I THINK WHAT IT'S TRYING TO SAY IS THAT IT MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE NEW THINGS, BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT THE THINGS ARE, COULD BE IDEAS, CONCEPTS, ETC. FEEL FREE TO REPLACE "THINGS" WITH A BETTER WORD)
(2) YOU CAN USE "outlining" INSTEAD OF "sketching" HERE TOO, AND THEN YOU CAN DROP "light lines". THE "light lines" PART DOESN'T READ WELL TO ME BUT YOU'RE THE EXPERT!
(3) I HOPE I UNDERSTOOD THE MEANING CORRECTLY...
