Only Craft Life/Mana from bases with 15%+ Quality and Normal Rarity or 19% Quality and Magic

You want to have access to many different status cleansing flasks across mostly your life and mana flasks.
Suffix | Status Immunity and Cleansing |
---|---|
Warding | Curses |
Staunching | Bleeding |
Grounding | Shock |
Dousing | Ignite |
Heat | Freeze and Chill |
Curing | Poison |
Most builds want 2 Life Flasks on their bar
- 1 generic use flask, usually Eternal with mods according to the build
- 1 instant/fast heal, or "oh shit button", Divine if you do not need it often, Hallowed otherwise. Either with Seething or Bubbling
Flask | Prefix | Notes |
---|---|---|
Divine | Seething / Bubbling | Instant Heal, highest heal |
Hallowed | Seething / Bubbling | Instant Heal, can be used more often |
Eternal | Panicked | Can be used as an hybrid instant/generic |
Eternal | Surgeon | Refill on Crit for crit builds |
Eternal | Perpetual / Chemist's | Frequent healing |
Eternal | Saturated / Catalyzed | If you have over 6k life |
Eternal | Cautious | high armour/health or low life build |
Eternal | Sapping | Blood Magic builds |
Unless you do not use Mana or have insane regen, you usually want 1 Mana Flask matching your mana usage. Because of this, Divine and Eternal are not the only choices. If your build uses Mind Over Matter, you should treat Mana Flasks like Life Flasks, and refer to the previous table. Cautious Eternal is probably the best for Mind Over Matter builds assuming you are low life.
Flask | Prefix |
---|---|
Divine / Eternal | Perpetual / Chemist's |
For Utility Flasks's Prefix, you usually want Surgeon if you are using a crit-based build and Experimenter's or Perpetual Otherwise. Note that Diamond Flask cannot have Surgeon.
Flask | Suffix | Notes |
---|---|---|
Diamond Flask | Gluttony | |
Quicksilver | Adrenaline | |
Bismuth / Chaos | Resistance | |
Stibnite | Reflexes | eva > 3000 |
Jade | Reflexes | eva < 3000 |
Granite | Iron Skin | armor |
Quartz | Iron Skin / Reflexes | dodge |
Others | Refer to Status Suffix table |
In general, starting at Merciless and Maps, elemental resists become very important to max if you value your life. Chaos resist is harder to get and most players tend to use a flask for this one when needed.
A few things can affect your resists negatively, here's a short table to help.
Resists Penalty | Needed to cap | |
---|---|---|
Normal Difficulty / Hideout | 0% | 75% |
Cruel Difficulty | -20% | 95% |
Merciless Difficulty | -60% | 135% |
Maps up to tier11 w/ Ele Weakness Mod | -89% | 164% |
Maps tier12+ w/ Ele Weakness Mod | -94% | 169% |
Ele Weakness Curse* | -40% | Need testing, worst case it'd be up to 209% |
*more info on how this interacts with map mods since 2.2 is appreciated.
