We’ve spent the last three years developing a kick-ass world renowned data analytical solution. Our close collaboration with Google gives us a unique technical edge and a behind the scenes view in the Google Cloud Platform. We’ve modeled our systems with the insights from the Google team and knowledge gained from the trenches at Spotify. We combine complex data sources with advanced (and customer specific) analyses to answer the customers burning questions. In the case of the airline industry, those are: How do we fly safer? What are the unknown contributing factors at takeoff and landing? How do we fly more fuel efficient without compromises on safety?
We’re currently looking for:
- Backend developer for our web platforms, services and API:s.
Python Flask is the common base for our API:s and web platforms, all of which this group is responsible for developing. The web platforms are our customer’s eyes into their data and it’s the most critical service in the company.
You will be a key contributor towards re-shaping and future proofing all our API:s and services, including the ones powering our data-processing pipelines. Our approach to data is unique and we strive to give you the space and opportunity to solve the problems we face in the way you best seem fit.
- Backend developer with focus on analyses and data processing.
The way we relate to and connect datasets before and during analyses is the foundation upon which we built our company. In this team you’ll work with anything and everything related to our analyses. Your job includes coding data parsers, developing the code behind our airline analyses and developing new logics. To help and guide you are some of the most knowledgeable people in each industry. They will take you on a journey towards the logics and theory behind the problems our customers face. Your daily routine will involve everything from parsing sensor to combining the knowledge about aircraft types, current weather and open data about airports to calculate the effective breaking action for every landing. We have built up enough complex data that we can provide real insights for our customers via machine learning models that are in live in production.
- Backend developer for infrastructure as code, focus on scalability and automation
Selling our product as a service requires a high level of automation. Data governance create a unique challenge – how do you build an autonomous infrastructure while ensuring data from two customers never pass through the same node? How would you handle a large array of data sources from a large array of customers while keeping data lineage for every file and data point?
The infrastructure team is also constantly racing to make sure we keep up with demand. But it’s more then just scale and automation, it’s how to best put systems into production while maintaining continuously delivery. Infrastructure is code and this is a coding position. Googles SRE book is a great place to start if your curious.
