This gist showcases my cover letter

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am Stephen Emmanuel, and this is my application for a fullstack software engineer role. Let me go over the reasons why I believe I am a perfect fit for this role, and why the role is a perfect fit for me.

Why me?

• I am tenacious. My passion for software applications lies with dreaming up ideas and making them come true with elegant and minimalistic interfaces. I take great care in the design, interface, experience, architecture, and code quality of the things I build.

• I am a problem solver. I co-developed the website for my alma mater, and also made a repo restaurant, that will help people book seats in major restaurants.

• I pursue perfection. Perfection is a word derived by perspective, and I put my heart and soul into each and every project I undertake. If you look at my open source projects, you will notice that they are actively maintained and updated with the security and bug fixed in time and also with near perfection.

• I am a fast learner. I learned Vue to start my first‐hand FOSS, and later I found React to be more powerful and robust compared to other JavaScript frameworks, so I learned React with some DevOps. So, I learn things faster, when they excite me.

• I pride myself on code quality. I make it a point to write unit tests, self‐documenting code, and also make sure that the entire suite has automated CI/CD pipelines for deployment.

• I am an open source advocate. I design open source web applications so that my projects could benefit other developers as well. It has taught me how to collaborate and work within distributed teams.

• And lastly, I thrive on challenges.
