## Sprawl
(This is a test of gist's feasibility to be used for story writing/editting/logging, and a writeup of the story of what's happening in the #tree's RPG so far.  Special thanks to abzde and timeshifter, who play two major roles.  (It should be noted that everything is rewritten, except for some lines of dialog here and there.  The general curve of the story is correct.)

Two young men look out the window, at the solid walls of tinted glass shining back at them.  Deep in the heart of the city, where one begins to doubt if there is even anything outside the city, there is conflict.  The two men, abzde and timeshifter, were detained earlier that morning by their block's police department.  They'd been waiting in the office for about an hour, and were getting impatient.

Finally, an old man in a highly starched dark blue uniform walked in.  A head shorter than timeshifter, he squinted at the pair and murmured something.  When it was clear he was waiting for a response, timeshifter spoke.

"Excuse me, sir?" he said pleasantly, making sure to tack a friendly smile on for punctuation.  The old man coughed, and refocused his gaze on timeshifter.

"I asked if you knew why you're here?" he inquired, in a tone a principal might direct at someone sent to his office for disobedience.
