Privacy Policy - X Bookmark Extractor

Overview

X Bookmark Extractor is a Chrome extension that helps users export their X (Twitter) bookmarks to CSV format. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

  • We do NOT collect any personal data
  • We do NOT access your X/Twitter account credentials
  • We do NOT store your bookmark data anywhere except locally
  • We do NOT track your usage or browsing behavior
  • We do NOT share any data with third parties

How Your Data is Handled

  • All bookmark extraction happens entirely within your browser
  • Your bookmark data never leaves your device
  • Exported CSV files are saved directly to your computer
  • Extension preferences are stored locally in your browser only

Permissions

  • activeTab: To read bookmark content from X/Twitter bookmarks page
  • downloads: To save CSV files to your downloads folder
  • storage: To remember your preferences locally
  • host_permissions: To access bookmark content only on x.com and twitter.com
