DTR - Number Guesser - David Cisneros and Eric Weissman
### Project: Number Guesser
### Group Member Names:
David Cisneros and Eric Weissman
### Project Expectations: What does each group member hope to get out of this project?
Increased comfort with building JS logic and taking the conceptual ideas from lectures and applying it to an actual project and application.
### Goals and expectations:
Nail the CSS early in the process so we can dedicate a lot of time to the JS.
Understand the WHY of what we are doing (across HTML, CSS and JS) and be able to professionally articulate the why.
### Team strengths:
Both David and Eric are pretty flexible and open-minded, likely won't melt down when shit hits the fan. Instead, will productively work to find solutions and show stick-to-it-iveness.
### How to overcome obstacles:
Being proactive about Pomodoros and using a 30-minute struggle timer.
Frequent retros to prevent any festering issues or problems with each other.
### Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually?):
We will set a soft end time each night for 8pm (earlier if we feel good about daily progress)
Will coordinate after each working session to evaluate progress and make a plan for following day.
### Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?):
Slack for any unforseen updates. If no acknowledgement within 30 mins, follow up text.
Prefer face to face communication whenever possible.
### Abilities Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):
David - feels pretty good about HTML and CSS, want to emphasize JS
Eric - HTML - 7.5 CSS - 6.5 (struggling with positioning) - JS is where I need the most work/reps Git/Github - 3
### Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):
For this project, equal distribution of workload utilizing frequent Driver/Navigator switching.
### Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests):
Eric to build Repo - emphasis on learning Git/Github with David pushing in when necessary
### Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:
Emphasis on mini-retros after each working sessions (2-3 mins) or every other day as necessary
For Eric: if something is bothering you or if you think of a better way of doing something, please address me immediately. I always assume best intentions.
### Agenda to discuss project launch:
1. DTR
2. Components of Number Guesser
3. Wire Framing
4. Scheduling
5. Work Time
### Ideas:
To be determined post wire-framing
### Tools:
Lesson materials, Flex Box Froggy Game, JS Playground
