Cookie Dough

Simple cookie dough recipe that goes well in Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (104 g) brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 2/3 cups (208 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon hot water

Instructions

  1. Mix butter and sugars in a bowl
  2. Mix in egg and vanilla
  3. Mix in flour and baing soda
  4. Mix in hot water

Cook at 375°F for 10 minutes.

Russian Tea Cakes

Tasty buttery cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts are fine, though I prefer pecans)

Instructions

  1. Mix everything together, then let it chill in the firdge.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  3. Roll cookie into small balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Remove them from heat before they brown (they should still be white).
  5. Roll in powdered sugar while they are still warm.
  6. Roll in powdered sugar again once they are cold.
  7. Eat them.

Waffles

Simplest waffle recipe, scales linearly with the number of people. The ingredients listed below serves two people.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbps Sugar
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Put flour in bowl
  2. Put baking powder in same bowl
  3. Mix flour and baking powder
  4. Make a well in flour-mixture and put egg in well
  5. Mix eggs, avoid mixing in the flour
  6. Add milk and mix everything
  7. Add oil, sugar, and vanilla
  8. Mix it all up
  9. Profit!
