The fact that a company uses a technology is not that interesting. Lots of companies use bad technologies! So instead, we have decided that featured companies must have compelling stories that help others make technical decisions. Things worth talking about are:
- How did you get started using Elm?
- What was the learning process for new engineers?
- What is hiring like?
- Did the number of bug reports go down?
- Is your team spending less time in some way?
- Are there any financial implications?
- What are your compile times like?
- How large are your assets?
- Was there anything that was difficult?
You do not have to write about all of those things. Or any of them! I am just trying to give some ideas. The goal is for companies to share experiences. There is no way to share that otherwise!
From there, just share it around the community, maybe on /r/elm and twitter with a @elmlang in the body!
My goal with featuring companies is to provide different and interesting perspectives, ideally from different industries, so we will reach out to folks with interesting posts to see if they are willing to be featured.
