Launch Sublime Text 2 from the Mac OS X Terminal

Sublime Text 2 ships with a CLI called subl (why not "sublime", go figure). This utility is hidden in the following folder (assuming you installed Sublime in /Applications like normal folk. If this following line opens Sublime Text for you, then bingo, you're ready.

open /Applications/Sublime\ Text\ 2.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/subl

Below are many examples of function hoisting behavior in JavaScript. Ones marked as works successfuly print 'hi!' without errors.

To play around with these examples (recommended) clone them with git and execute them with e.g. node a.js

  • SC1000 $ is not used specially and should therefore be escaped.
  • SC1001 This \o will be a regular 'o' in this context.
  • SC1003 Want to escape a single quote? echo 'This is how it'\''s done'.
  • SC1004 This backslash+linefeed is literal. Break outside single quotes if you just want to break the line.
  • SC1007 Remove space after = if trying to assign a value (or for empty string, use var='' ... ).
  • SC1008 This shebang was unrecognized. ShellCheck only supports sh/bash/dash/ksh. Add a 'shell' directive to specify.
  • SC1009 The mentioned parser error was in ...
  • SC1010 Use semicolo

LSCOLORS

The value of this variable describes what color to use for which attribute when colors are enabled with CLICOLOR. This string is a concatenation of pairs of the format fb, where f is the foreground color and b is the background color.

The color designators are as follows:
