# create eclipse location
mkdir /opt/eclipse
# Unzip it
tar -xvzf /path/.../eclipse-java-luna-SR2-linux-gtk.tar.gz -C /opt/eclipse
# create link
ln -s /opt/eclipse/eclipse/ /opt/eclipse/latest
# Permissions
hmod -R +r /opt/eclipse/
