Your efforts developing irtrans.py is highly appreciated, I am trying to use it, but keep getting "Remote Control not found" in the home-assistant.log.
Does the script communicate with the IrTrans device or do I have to install the irserver64 on the machine running the home-assistant server?
Do I use the IP address (in configuration.yaml) of the Irtrans device or the IP address of the machine running the irserver64, Please provide more details on how to use it for non-linux experts.
Thanks,
it works with the irserver running on the home assistant server, (my irtrans has irdb), thanks,
