Tesla templating issues and suggestions as of version 0.998

Multiple cards

• The artist credit on some cards starts with a space. Affects Vanara Thrillseeker and Suljet, the Cog Mind.
• Dominaria update:
  • Change the card name in additional costs, cost reductions, and casting restrictions to “this spell” on Assault Automaton, Leyline Disturbance, and Outland Avenger.
  • Remove mentions of the mana pool from Aether Plantation, Chandras Catharsis, Cinder Barrens, Corrupt Courtroom, District Slums, Factory Reactor, Frontier Outpost, Meandering River, Restless District, Submerged Boneyard, Timber Gorge, Tranquil Expanse, Utopian District, Wealthy Man, and Weapons Cache.
  • Update damage effects for the removal of the planeswalker redirection rule:
    • Change “target player” to “target player or planeswalker” on Crazy Conspiracy // Groundbreaking Discovery and Energized Bolas.
    • Change “target creature or player” to “any target” on Alchemic Blaze // Naphfire Launcher, Civil Unrest, Combustion Engineer, and Explosive Apparatus.
  • Remove gendered pronouns from Consulate Conditioning, Consulate Faithful, Corrupt Lieutenant, Courtroom Executor, Mindleak Agent, Naga Spymaster, Outland Apex, Plagiarized Results, and Plea Bargain.
  • All cards are missing the flavor bar and legendary flourish. To fix this, the template should be changed to M15 Mainframe. The flavor bar on the following cards will also have to be adjusted:

    • -3 on Corrupt Lieutenant and Kindly Guard.
    • d on Siv's Legacy.
• Artist name on Crown of Ideals and Freedom Fighter should be “sakimichan”.
• The dash after ability words should be an em dash, not an en dash. Affects Outlands Hellkite, Suppressing Agent, and Wilds Raider.
• There is an extra space on the type line, between “Creature” and the dash on Outlands Bandit, Tigrala Ravagers, Vanara Terror, and Vanara Thrillseeker.

Single card

• Assault Automaton: Should say “Cast this spell only […]”, not “You may cast […]”.
• Blade of Choices:
  • Should say “gains”, not “gets”.
  • Should list flying before first strike.
• Clockwork Perfection: Artist name Julie Dillon should be capitalized for consistency with other cards.
• Consulate Colonists: This uses the wrong name to refer to itself in its text box.
• Consulate Conditioning: There should be a line break, not a paragraph break, between the choose clause and the first mode.
• Consulate Faithful: Artist name should be capitalized as Gorrem.
• Crazy Conspiracy // Groundbreaking Discovery: For consistency with Tomb of the Dusk Rose, this should say “exiled with this permanent”.
• Crown of Ideals: Due to a rules change in M19, the first ability no longer works, since the creature that's being copied is locked in at the time the copy effect is created, i.e. as Crown of Ideals enters the battlefield. To approximately keep the functionality, it could be changed to something like:

  Whenever Crown of Ideals becomes attached to a creature, all other creatures you control become a copy of that creature until Crown of Ideals becomes unattached from that creature.

  Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, it becomes a copy of equipped creature until Crown of Ideals becomes unattached from that creature.

• Daitya Survivor: Keyword order should be “Reach, trample”.
• Exploit the Outlands: Should say “Creatures you control gain […]”.
• Explosive Apparatus: The current Oracle text of this card is “{3}, {T}, Sacrifice Explosive Apparatus: It deals 2 damage to any target.”
• Gravedebt Demon: This sort of effect is usually worded as “If he or she does, put it into its owner's graveyard.”
• Mana Drone: Does not need to say “colorless”.
• Materialism: Should use different templating to make it work the intended way, where artifact creatures are counted twice. Suggested fix: “At the beginning of your upkeep, if the number of artifacts you control plus the number of creatures you control plus the number of artifact cards in your graveyard plus the number of creature cards in your graveyard is thirty or more, you win the game.”
• Production Enhancer: Should be updated to use the create keyword.
• Rooftop Thief: Artist name should be Mike Capprotti.
• Self-Perfecting Construct: Should say “Create a token that's a copy of it”.
• Courtroom Magister: Should say “and you lose 1 life”.
• Siv's Messenger: Keyword order should be “Haste, prowess”.
• Suljet, the Cog Mind: The comma in the last sentence should be removed.
• Untamed Hydra: Should specify “double the number of each kind of counter”.
• Vicious Seengshir: Should this be a Cat? Tiger would be a new subtype.
• Wisdom of the Mighty: Artist credit should be “Kekai Kotaki”, not“kekai_kotaki”.
• Zila Officer: Uses the wrong card name in its rules text.
