Concentration and meditation workshop

To get the full benefit of the workshop practice the breathing technique three times a day practice we did together.

Tools and information about them

  • Nasal diaphragmatic breathing
    • Can be used during stress reaction
    • Can be used before interview / PA situation
    • Practiced by Navy / Athletes / Therapists / etc.
    • Breath controls body and bodily functions have immediate connection to the brain
  • For healthy brain functions proper amount of sleep is needed
  • Meditation / mindfulnes techniques can be utilized to break out of thought loops

News reading habits

  • Give time limit in iphone / android for news reading
  • Set the main focus on something else - e.g. on TW project :)
  • Take note a piece of information is useful for you
  • Set rules on information gathering sources - filtered news feed before the interview)

General concentration tools

  • Minimize stimuli
  • Eat / sleep at a regular time
  • Rest
  • Have a list of work items so if you are stuck you can finish something simpler
  • Prioritize your work
  • Be organized
  • Yoga
  • Dynamic movement
  • Decouple emotionally from a stressor (e.g. a job is not Soo important for me,
