Hi,
Thanks for your contributions! ❤️
I've just sent you an invite to join NeoMutt
(it's a very inclusive club :-)
By default your membership is private.
If you make it public, others will see the NeoMutt logo on your profile page.
You can change the settings, here:
As a member you can commit directly to all the repos.
Everything's backed up, but be careful :-)
The main branch is protected (only the @neomutt/reviewers can commit to it).
If you create any branches in the neomutt repo,
I suggest a name [devel/short-desc].
Should you wish to develop the suggestion is:
- Discuss the idea first (IRC/issue) We don't want people to waste their time
- Create some some work in a personal, or devel/ branch devel branches are your private area
- When you're ready for constructive criticism, create a pull-request This will trigger a review request from @neomutt/reviewers
- New code requires the approval of one of the reviewers They'll check that basic code standards are met
- They will merge the code into main
- The next release will credit you for your hard work
There's a welcome page which I suggest you read: https://neomutt.org/dev/newbie-tutorial
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers, Rich / @flatcap
