Yesterday we went to the Melbourne flower and garden show. It was a very
senior
event to go to. There were awesome displays of flowers and gardens as one would expect in such a show. It was good until the cold rain poured. When we left the show, we had a nice excuse to warm up and eat some Shujinko black ramen. So good! -
I can't believe it's the last day of March already. Today, we had our first ever piano lessons with a real piano teacher. It was an ok experience -- I wasn't able to enjoy it that much because my phone kept going off because of the pager duty alarms that set off during the races. The kids enjoyed themselves though.

I made my first ever ikebana (photo up the top). I got my kenzan cheap @ daiso, my materials from the backyard and from the neighbours plants. I got inspired to pick this up because doing this is so cheap. You can start straight away with stuff you can readily find in and around my surroundings.

I had my morning Saturday routine done. I went to Altona beach to have my black coffee and morning paper. 30 minutes of peace and quiet is all I need.
-
Tomorrow when I wake up ahead of the kids -- I'll do my 40 min kettlebell workout in the living room where it's still quiet. I found a free sample workout from onnit. I have my 16kg kettlebell with me, a yoga mat and an internet connection. All you need to have a decent workout these days.

I think we will be obliged to go to church tomorrow because we did not go today. Mama expects us to go -- that's why we do.
-
I can't bear the state of our house right now. It's very dirty. I wanted to go and clean but I want to do it using my new vacuum: a Dyson one.
-
Time for a movie with the kids? We could try the drive in movie as Mon suggests or just be conventional and watch the movie @ Werribee plaza. Well, I think it's worth to try out the drive in movie. We've never done that before.
-
What about the garden? I could do some gardening after my workout. Lay the remaining cardboard near the pathway and put the spare mulch on top. Cool.
Make the most out of the weekend.
