Pre-Match Checklist

Deployment:

• Are stand-offs correctly tightened

Bands:

• Are the band groups sufficiently fresh

  • Sufficient Strength
  • No potentially weakening wear and tear
  • Are the zip ties correctly oriented?

• Ensure the hanging bands are in place

• Are the claw suspension strings taut?

• Are the below-claw bands in place?

Mechanisms:

• Is the axle for the band groups pushed in

• Is the claw synchronised?

• Are all the motors secure?

  • Tap on each to test for looseness

Batteries:

• Install new robot batteries or upgrade to as charged as possible

• Ensure battery chargers are in use

• Ensure the controller is not low on charge

Strategy:

• Discuss autonomous with opposing team

  • Be certain that they will do as they say

• Know in advance who will take preload

• Decide hanging plan and make team aware

Match Start Checklist

Shogo:

• Make final ruling on autonomous choice

• Connect Controller to Field Control

• Ensure partner is connected, correctly configured

  • Alert team-members to match-affecting issues

Callum:

• Ensure cortex is turned on

• Ensure all wires are connected to the cortex

  • Batteries
  • LCD Screen
  • Motors

• Alerting team to cortex in correct mode

• Ensure field is correctly configured

Jack:

• Aid Alex by pushing the claw body inwards

• Align robot corresponding to autonomous

Alex:

• Fit the claw securely to the stand-offs

• Place the pre-load appropriately on the robot
