Docker provides download links in release note. They promised that

(we) will also include download links in release notes for future releases.

really a life saver, I accidentally updated app and then there is no way to get old one due to my system specifications. Thank you Team 👍

I tried a lot of solutions: edge versions; reinstalling docker; changing permission; removing folders and files; changing group user name; troubleshooting; factory restart; clean/purge data
This is the only thing that worked...

Any idea, how to install docker without Docker Desktop? I need only docker engine.

@phracek On macOS, brew install docker, or port install docker, or compile from source yourself.

@AndresMupa You need to figure out which version of Docker Desktop support macOS Sierra. Docker Inc. doesn’t maintain such information. Otherwise sorry I can’t help.

@eric-lancelot @AndresMupa Docker Desktop Community 2.3.0.5 can be installed on macOS 10.12.6, on next release notes macOS 10.13 is deprecated .

I really need this list, it's so annoying when dns containers on mac start failing and the only solution is to fall back to a previous version. Has anybody else had this issue? where if you run a dns container on version A, but upgrade to version B it fails, then on version C it's working again?

I was experiencing the following error when pulling images using version 17.06.0-ce-mac18:

ERROR : missing signature key

After removing the previous version and installing 18.06.1-ce-mac73, I was able to pull images without any problems. 🙏🏼

This version (48506) also works on my Mojave 10.14.6, it fixed this error that I had been getting for a few weeks:

postgres_1 | ls: cannot access '/docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/': Operation not permitted

With the previous version (26764), I can run docker build..., but I can't run docker run.

@changchanglccc No need to run any old Docker for Monterey compatibility, most recent update from official site works just fine for me. (Nonetheless you should install the latest Monterey 12.7.x update of macOS that contains many fixes incl. security, it's still getting important fixes in updates…)
