    I found http://mikael-amborn.blogspot.com/2013/06/sidekiq-thread-dump-on-heroku.html, but as heroku now allows for heroku ps:exec,
this is possible without adding a worker to the app:
heroku ps:exec --dyno=worker.1
$ ps aux # note pid of sidekiq process
$ kill -TTIN PID
