Laravel 4 Eloquent Cheat Sheet.

Conventions:

Defining Eloquent model (will assume that DB table named is set as plural of class name and primary key named "id"):

class Shop extends Eloquent {}

Using custom table name

protected $table = 'my_shops';

Feistel Hash
<?php
/**
* This function computes a hash of an integer. This can be used to not expose values to a customer, such as
* not giving them the id value for passing them to URLs. This algorithm is a bidirectional encryption (Feistel cipher) that maps
* the integer space onto itself.

Insanely complete Ansible playbook, showing off all the options
This playbook has been removed as it is now very outdated.

Update all of them with anchor_id from above (usually is ID 51)

UPDATE `catalog_category_entity_int` set value = 1 where attribute_id = 51

How to move to a fork after cloning
So you've cloned somebody's repo from github, but now you want to fork it and contribute back. Never fear!
Technically, when you fork "origin" should be your fork and "upstream" should be the project you forked; however, if you're willing to break this convention then it's easy.
* Off the top of my head *
1. Fork their repo on Github
2. In your local, add a new remote to your fork; then fetch it, and push your changes up to it
git remote add my-fork git@github...my-fork.git
