  1. Filter features based on date.

  • Add source to element based on historical overlay.
    e.g. 1885 Robinsons Map of Brooklyn, NYPL
    source:uri:http://maps.nypl.org/maps/12345
    source:org
    Similar to how JOSM can add the source tag based on the imagery displayed.
    possible if the iD is embedded in wikimaps or mapwarper - add that also
    source:host wikimaps/maps/1234
  • Add date tags to an element based on the source map
    e.g. for the above map
    date_start:1885
    date_end:1886
