V90 Custom Firmware Guide Powkiddy V90

Steps

  1. Install Custom Firmware

    Download CustomFirmware from https://github.com/TriForceX/MiyooCFW/ for Powkiddy V90

    $ wget https://github.com/TriForceX/MiyooCFW/releases/download/1.3.3/powkiddy-q90-v90-cfw-v1.3.3.7z

    1.A Burn Image to SD-Card using Imager Software.

  2. Update Emulators

  3. Disable Non-useable Emulators

  4. Import Roms and Media

Install Custom Firmware

Installation of custom firmware is pretty straightforward, as the default settings can be taken by the MiyooCFW-Guide. This Guide can be found here https://github.com/TriForceX/MiyooCFW/wiki/Custom-Firmware-Setup

Update Emulators

As the basic MiyooCustomFW-System does not come with recent and fully compatible, you need to set up various Emulators again with BIOS-Files etc.

In order to do so, i will focus on the following Systems in this Guide:

  • Amiga A500
  • NES(Famicon)
  • SNES(Super Famicon)
  • GB (Gameboy)
  • GBC (Gameboy Color)
  • GBA (Gameboy Advance)
  • ScummVM (Text-Adventure Engine)
  • Pico8 (Fantasy Console)
