Demo of King Lear, Tate edition

Here is the digitized book in our Digital Collections platform:
THE HISTORY OF KING LEAR,: A TRAGEDY, ACTED AT THE KING'S-THEATRE, REVIV'D WITH ALTERATIONS

We currently have three different viewers for digitized books, as they all offer different affordances and functionality.

BookReader

  • good for searching, page flipping, reading in single page mode
  • ability to select portions of page and save as image link, example

Mirador

  • excellent for deep zooming, also allows for comparisons between other books
  • example comparison
