This is such a common question here and elsewhere that I will attempt to write the world's most canonical answer to this question. Hopefully in the future when someone on answers.onstartups asks how to split up the ownership of their new company, you can simply point to this answer.

The most important principle: Fairness, and the perception of fairness, is much more valuable than owning a large stake. Almost everything that can go wrong in a startup will go wrong, and one of the biggest things that can go wrong is huge, angry, shouting matches between the founders as to who worked harder, who owns more, whose idea was it anyway, etc. That is why I would always rather split a new company 50-50 with a friend than insist on owning 60% because "it was my idea," or because "I was more experienced" or anything else. Description

Simple Dashing widget that tracks time since a certain event. Time Since Last waits for request to be made to your instance of Dashing and will then reset the time since the last occurrence of whatever event you would like to track. An example could be the time since the last exception for one of your applications, or the time since the last accident on the workfloor (better keep that widget green)!

Dependencies

This widget requires HTML5's localStorage in order to keep track of the last time the event occurred in order for it to work across restarts and refreshes.

Description

Dashing widget to display a bunch of current and coming-up Google Calendar events.

The widget shows only one event and is based on the text-widget which is default in the Dashing installation. The time is displayed as human-readable time string with the help of MomentJS.

A Dashing job fetches the events of a given public or private calendar url, orders events to match starting time and sends the data to the dashboard. A certain event offset can be set for each calendar widget so that it will show the first (data-pre="0"), the second (data-pre="1") or any other following event based on the offset. For each calendar you'll have to define a name which enables you to assign custom background colors for events of each calendar.

While the main job is called in larger intervals, there is a second job to be run every minute or so, which kicks out already finished events. In that way processing load

This is an adjusted version of EC2 CloudWatch stats for Dashing which is not bound to EC2 metrics but a generic widget for cloudwatch graphs. Visualization is done by Rickshawgraph as in the original example.
