I left the sim inside tracker, I top up with 5£ but still nothing, I mean, I send sms to it but I don't get sms back,not sure what's wrong

If you remove the sim from the tracker and insert it in a phone, are you able to send sms?

The TK-915 its a 2G device and only supports 2G GSM service. That may be your problem, either your service isn’t GSM or it doesn’t support 2G. What cell carrier is your SIM and where are you located?

I have a sim from 3 network, I am based in Luton

All sorted,you are right, the sim was the problem, wasn't 2G ,I replaced it and now it's working.

# does not support 2G network/devices, that is your problem. Find a SIM card that supports 2G network/devices that will work in your area.

There is no reset button on the TK-915. To reset the device to factory setting, send command RESET123456

You can add the command "monitor" to enable the microphone.
After that, the tracker will answer the call. To disable it, send "tracker".
Also the sensitivity of the shock sensor can be configured with "sensitivity n" (n in range of 1 to 3).
"loosing" to send an alert if the alimentation is unplugged.
Geo-fence configuration with "stockade 3.049529E,50.639796N;3.051589E,50.638745N" (long et latitute reversed).
All sos commands are working but without the button, it's quite worthless to configure it.

We can also define another IP address to send regularly the data to a private server for exemple with "adminip IP PORT"
And configure the time between each upload "upload 10"

I don’t know if there is a way to do that without removing the admin phone number, but doing so would stop all SMS alerts. noadmin123456 will remove the admin number

meu tkstar915 não funciona mais. iniciei com um chip da tim, ele funcionou normalmente nos primeiros dias e agora não envia mais os comandos solicitados. não retorna o SMS. O led de rede não pisca, fica ligado direto.

yeah thought so, comment in table says up to 5 numbers though. i also found that during calling in monitor mode, the online tracking and sms do not function until hanging up. (TK915-4G)

Hello, has anyone already configured a server to receive tkstar frames? I have a nodejs/express app that should retrieve the frames and save them in a file, but it is impossible to retrieve the frames correctly.

To do this, I sent the following sms: adminip123456 {your_public_ip} {port}, and received an adminip ok reply.

When I start my server I receive an incoming communication but the frames don't have the desired format.

If anyone has experienced this problem, I'd like to thank them in advance for their help.

I don't have this device anymore but I had it working on a traccar server I set up using port 5093. AFAIK, the device uses 'watch' protocol.
