Error in the installation of ROS Melodic in OSX High Sierra

Have you tried this?

These instructions are about to install Python from Homebrew. However, there are already
pip packages installed against the system python, in the following path:

    /Library/Python/2.7/site-packages/

If you have problems, please uninstall these packages:

    for i in $( pip freeze ); do sudo -H pip uninstall -y $i; done

Then delete the build directory and start over again from scratch.

And where does python2 point?

Same problem.

python2 points to

/usr/local/python@2/2.7.16/bin/python2
